KINGSPORT — A Kingsport woman was arrested Friday after allegedly waving down a police officer in an unmarked car then offering him sex for money.
According to a report filed at the Kingsport Police Department, the incident occurred at the corner of Dale Street and Boone Street. The officer reported that as he drove by, at approximately 8:40 p.m., a woman waved at him.
When the officer turned around and drove by again, she waved him down. The officer stopped his vehicle, according to the report, and the woman jumped into his passenger seat.
“I asked what she was doing, and she said trying to get into something,” the officer states in his report. “She asked if I was a cop and I said no, then I asked if she was, and she exposed her breast.”
The police report states the woman, Tracy Lee Solomon, 29, 651 Dale St., Apt. 16, offered oral sex or sexual intercourse, charging $40 for each.
“I drove her to the police station and advised her she was under arrest,” concludes the police report.
Solomon was charged with prostitution.

Entrapment is forcing someone to commit a crime. It is also highly illegal.
Enticement, however, is perfectly legal. I would hope that God might take the context of the lie into consideration... if it is to save a person from themselves or from causing harm to others...?
I can see it now. A cop is working undercover to bust a drug ring. He is introduced to the ringleader.
Cop: Hey Mr. Ringleader. I can't lie to you or I will go to jail or hell, or both. I'm a cop and I'm here to get enough evidence to put you and your buddies in jail.
could have been part of a "Bailout Plan" or the "Cash for Clunkers" program has really expanded.
$40???????
Must not be any good!
Yup, people are charged with lying to the police all the time so it follows that the policeman should be charged with lying to a civilian. It's never okay to lie. One of the Ten Commandments is "Thou shalt not bear false witness". So even if the cop isn't punished here he will be punished for his breaking the commandment in the afterlife.
No I don't watch Cops. I am just trying to become more informed. It doesn't seem fair that they can lie. Where are the moral standards? I realize that the people they are dealing with usually have no morals themselves but two wrongs don't make a right.
I guess not having ever been in the situation, I see things from the view point of a law-abiding citizen.
Quite the Freudian slip there, Who...
oh yea the cops can lie about being cops, dont u watch the show cops? lol
Wonder if this person is on facebook?
I would seem that the working ladies may be moving back into that area. It may be time for KPD to restart the stings in the area. I used to drive through there a lot on my way to work, and my friends and I found it amusing that we could tell which women where cops cause they where the attractive ones..LOL
good golly what a horrible type I made below:
ADDitionally.
LOL
Yes they are permitted to lie.
Assitionally, in this case, she actively solicited him and he went along with it (which he's allowed to) and she was caught.
Good question, Vettie Lee. Are the police allowed to lie? Isn't that entrapment? Just wondering. Can anyone answer?
Did he take her to jail before or after the transaction took place?
When I pulled this story up, there was a picture of a woman on a hill in a bridal gown. I thought, wow. High class stuff.
Well, note to self; stay away from Dale St.
Also, police can lie and say they are not police? Are they not held to the same moral standards they expect from citizens?
$40...Junky ?
Priceless...........thanks for making my day! HAHA
