CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — The U.S. Geological Survey reports three small earthquakes within hours of each other in East Tennessee, including a magnitude 3.0 earthquake that shook enough for people to notice Sunday.
USGS spokeswoman Tish Tuttle said records show 27 people called about the magnitude 3.0 earthquake that was recorded just after 5 p.m. EST Sunday near Cleveland.
Tuttle said Monday from the USGS office in Memphis, Tenn., that there were two smaller earthquakes early Monday in the same area of the East Tennessee Seismic Zone, a magnitude 1.5 and a magnitude 2.0.
She said the small earthquakes are common.

This guy don't sound like a local prophet to me. He sounds more like chicken little...
"ALL I CAN SAY IS BIBLE BEING FULLFILLED TIME IS WINDING DOWN SO BE READY IF YOUR NOT ASK JESUS IN TO YOUR HEART AND LIVE SAVED."
Is this yet another plug for the movie 2012 or are you just a nut?
Um... Rlynn: If you look at minor fault lines, then East Tennessee is *covered* with them. The closest one runs along the Bloomingdale Pike road. Tiny earthquakes are fairly common around here.
Get back to me when the New Madrid faultline busts out a 8.3 or better quake.
I'm sure Dale St. could use a fresh street preacher on a soapbox, since the working gals are moving back in.
Hey look, a local prophet.
