Published November 5th, 2009 | 0 Comments

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Nicky Lynn Crumley Jr., 30, Summitt Drive, Bluff City, in connection with several recent burglaries in the Bluff City area.

One burglary took place on Shawnee Drive, where several expensive construction tools were taken.

Another burglary took place on Mill Street, where a guitar, banjo, knife set and camping backpack were taken.

An attempted burglary took place on Pleasant Grove Road, near Bluff City, and Crumley has been charged in that attempt.

Crumley faces two counts of aggravated burglary and one count each of attempted burglary, theft over $1,000 and theft over $500.

When the warrants for those charges were served, Crumley was already being held in the Blountville jail on an aggravated assault charge. He is now being held in lieu of a $65,000 bond.

The investigation is continuing.
