Emily Henegar, 39
A Hawkins County woman has been arrested for allegedly lying about her children being dependents so that she could qualify for TennCare benefits.
A press release from the Office of Inspector General states 39-year-old Emily S. Arnold, also known as Emily Henegar, was indicted and charged with TennCare fraud and theft of property. The press release states that without lying about her children living in her household, Arnold wouldn't have qualified for TennCare.
If convicted, Henegar could serve up to four years for the theft of services charge, a class D felony, and two years for the TennCare fraud charge, a class E felony.
