Rowe and Duncan engagement
Linsey Grace Marie Rowe of Kingsport, and Tyler Maurice Duncan of Kingsport, plan to be married in an open-church ceremony at 6 p.m., June 19, 2010 at First Baptist Church, Church Circle.The bride-elect is the daughter of Jeffery and Edna Rowe of Kingsport, and the granddaughter of Bob and Paulette Powers of Kingsport, and James and Joyce Rowe of Kingsport. She graduated from Sullivan North High School and plans to receive a bachelor's degree in nursing this fall from East Tennessee State University. She is employed at Whitney's Closet.The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Steve and Terri Duncan of Kingsport, and the grandson of Gary and Lora Philbrick of Van Alstyne, Texas, and the late Calvin and Jenell Duncan. He graduated from Sullivan North High School and received a bachelor's degree in biology from East Tennessee State University in May 2010. He will attend the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine this fall.
Hoskins and Larkin engagement
Allen and Teresa Larkin are happy to announce the upcoming marriage of their son, Matthew Allen, to Chara Dawn Hoskins, June 12, 2010, at Cherry Hills Community Church, Highlands Ranch, Colo.The bride-elect is the daughter of Larry and Janet Hoskins of Aurora, Colo. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Hoskins of Flower Mound, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Matelich of Irving, Texas. She graduated from Biola University in California, with a bachelor's degree in intercultural studies and missions. She is employed as a teaching assistant in the Denver School System. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 2003. In 2007, he received an associate's degree in information technology from Northeast State Community College and in 2010, he received a bachelor's degree in missions and evangelism from Clear Creek Bible College, Pineville, Ky. He is employed by Citi. He is the grandson of Mrs. Sue Morelock of Kingsport, the late Bill Morelock and the late Carl and Pauline Larkin.A reception for the couple will be held later in the summer in Kingsport.

In 2007, she graduated summa cum laude with a master's degree in accounting. In 2009, she pursued and achieved CPA licensing. Kristin is employed with PricewaterhouseCoopers.Jason is the son of Kathy and Terry Jordan of Kingsport, and Rick and Mary Beth Stiltner, of Grundy, Va. He is the grandson of Lowell Hagy of Vansant, Va., the late Dorla Hagy, Gail and Thelma Stiltner of Grundy, the late John and Mag Merricks, David Jordan of Jackson, Tenn., and the late Margaret Jordan. He is a 1999 graduate of Sullivan South High School and a 2007 graduate of East Tennessee State University where he earned a degree in finance. Jason is employed at The Olde Farm.
