Brad Paisley, Bret Michaels coming to Fun Fest 2025

KINGSPORT — Fun Fest's 2025 Sunset Concert Series lineup includes Tauren Wells, Bret Michaels and Brad Paisley, Kingsport Fun Fest representatives announced Tuesday morning.Tauren Wells will kick off the series on Thursday, July 24, along with We Are Messengers, a news release states.Wells has garnered one billion-plus worldwide streams, according to his website, and has seen success on the radio and Billboard's Top Christian Albums Chart. Some of his top performing songs include "Known," "Hills and Valleys" and "God's Not Done with You."We Are Messengers, fronted by Darren Mulligan, has been making a name for themselves for nearly a decade. Some of the group's biggest hits include "Come What May" "Maybe It's OK" and "God With Us."Bret Michaels headlines the Friday night concert on July 25 with opener Edwin McCain.Michaels totes hits like "Every Rose Has It Thorn," "Go That Far" and "Nothing But A Good Time" as part of his catalog, according to the release.McCain is defined as a "major-label breakout" from the mid-90's, with Top 40 hits such as "I'll Be" and "I Could Not Ask For More."Then, on Saturday, July 26, the festival finale will be Brad Paisley, featuring opener Avery Anna. This will be Paisley's second appearance at Fun Fest, with his first being in 2000.Paisley has written 21 of his 24 No. 1 hits, the release states, and became the first artist to achieve 10 consecutive Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 singles. That includes songs like "Mud on the Tires," "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin' Song)" and "Anything Like Me." He has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2001.Anna has most recently risen in popularity from her viral duet "Indigo" performed with Sam Barber, the release states. She released her debut album "Breakup Over Breakfast" in 2024, with 17 tracks all written or co-written by the artist. Clear bags should not exceed 12"x6"x12", and approved bags will be available for purchase outside of the stadium.
