TPUSA will indoctrinate impressionable teens

Senators Blackburn and Johnson, speaking for Governor Lee, arbitrarily decree Tennessee's partnership with Turning Point USA, to establish TPUSA chapters in every Tennessee college/university, and Club Americas in every high school, backed, they say, by legal action against school staff who interfere. Josh Thifault, a TPUSA senior director, admitted chapters push Republican talking points, adding, "I want to create a future where the leftist parents are scared that their kid's going to be a teenager, because that's when their Club America is going to tell them about Jesus, … the founding of the country ... show them the beauty of marriage and family." Trying to sound benign, but easily accessible Kirk interviews and TPUSA statements expose why they want early access to young teens. On a YouTube interview about marriage and family, Kirk said teen girls shouldn't date for fun but for finding a suitable husband. They should marry very young, certainly before age 25, and have as many babies as possible. Other interviews promote patriarchal male-dominated-submissive-wife marriages. In a Reagan Center speech, Kirk told parents not to send their children to college because they will lose their values, and advised on how to respond to resistance. TPUSA is a major arm of the extremist, even militant, white Christian nationalist Seven Mountains Mandate movement. (Look it up.) Don Jr. got a TPUSA standing ovation when he said following Jesus' teachings in the Sermon on the Mount "just makes Republicans weak." TPUSA will aggressively proselytize, propagandize and indoctrinate impressionable teens, then push them toward influencing peers. Under legal threat, school personnel cannot protect our students.
