Speakers announced for Johnson City Prayer Breakfast

The annual Johnson City Prayer Breakfast — a powerful morning of worship, prayer, fellowship and inspiration — is set for Monday, March 30, at Freedom Hall Arena. Now in its fifth year, the Johnson City Prayer Breakfast invites individuals and families from across the community to come together in the spirit of unity and faith. The event provides a welcoming environment for people of all denominations to join in corporate prayer for the city, grow spiritually, and support and encourage one another. Doors will open at 7:15 a.m., breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., and the program will be held from 8-10 a.m. This year's keynote speaker is Marcy Gregg, an inspiring author, artist and speaker who is known for her compelling testimony of faith, resilience and hope. The following local community members will lead prayers focused on critical issues affecting the community: Dan Bragg, chief executive officer of ETSU Health; Mayor Greg Cox of Johnson City; Karlee Goodwin, chief of staff of ActionVFX; Washington County Sheriff Keith Sexton; Jim and Karen Fickley, marriage ministry leaders of Redeemer Community Church; Dr. Dumisa Nyarambi, executive pastor of Bread of Life International Ministry; Subrina Sonekeo, executive director of Rise Up! for Kids; and Ethan Tuell, an East Tennessee State University student and Roan Scholar. This year, tickets have been made more affordable by the generous support of donors at a lower price of $12.12. This is a meaningful price chosen in honor of Romans 12:12 and the constant source of hope, Jesus Christ: "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."
