Hagerty visits Eastman's molecular recycling facility

KINGSPORT — U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty, R-Tenn., visited Eastman Chemical Co.'s methanolysis facility during his visit to Kingsport Thursday. According to a news release shared by Eastman, the site is considered the largest "material-to-material recycling facility" of its kind. "Eastman's methanolysis facility is not only a testament to American innovation, but also a blueprint for how the industry can lead the way in solving its most pressing challenges," Hagerty said in the release.
